Oxynorm like every other analgesic is a very potent medication which belongs to opioids class of drug. It helps relief and fight pain as it acts directly on the brain. It is mainly use for persistent and consistent pains.

Oxynorm Contraindications

– Hepatic impairment
– Chronic Asthma or obstructive bronchitis
– Respiratory Failure
– Heart disorder caused by pulmonary arterial hypertension
– Intestinal disorders
– Kids under 18 years

Avoid interaction with different medications

This medication is not supposed to be used with other anagelsic which has buprenorphine, nalmefene, pentazocine, it will reduce the analgesic effects. It can be taken with certain antibiotics that belongs to macrolide class like erythromycin, telithromycin or some antifungals like voriconazole, posaconazole, and some medications which has cobicistat.
Patients are advised to let their doctors know they`re on sleeping pills, tranquilizers before taking this medication.
